Start with, "Just think of the planet as your cigar ..." cuz they already do, then ask, "so, want to burn it up or keep it like it is until later?" What's not to understand?

(58 posts)What Rush is saying is that since man cannot create the weather then his actions play no role in affecting the weather. The analogies being made are, in my opinion wrong. In fact, making an analogy does a disservice to what was actually said.
Free will means that we have the option as to which choice we make in any given situation. If those choices bring about negative consequences, we reap what we sow. Therefore, any Christian that believes in a god given free will Must believe that bad choices made on a global scale will have a negative impact on a global scale. Rushs logic is as tragically intellectually childish as usual. That is the point that should have been made.
