signed it. They got such a great deal because they set up a $600,000,000 "Common Benefit Fund" (bribe) where the law firms on the Plaintiff Steering Committee can earn up to that amount in attorneys fees and expenses every time they get the Judge that appointed them to sign an Order that BP wants.
Our firm has attempted to "Opt Out" most of our clients from this BS Class Settlement Agreement. They, the Judge and the head of the Class Fund sent letters to our clients that opted out advising them to opt in. These letters were sent without warning to our clients behind our back. These victims had to agree to waive their right to trial before knowing if they would get an offer from the fund. Once opted in, you cannot opt out later. I could go on but what's the use!
We will fight this to the end and you will see our firm trying these cases against BP down the line! The truth will come out and people will be shocked at what passes for Justice in America when Defendants as big as BP and Halliburton use their money and influence, including controlling the media, to screw the victims once again!
