Thom Hartmann: Exposing the New Republican Conspiracy & Paranoia

Sam Sacks, Progressive Strategist joins Thom Hartmann. The Republican party loves to start conspiracy theories in attempts to sway American voters. Why do they resort to these tactics - and do they really think they're fooling anyone?

Every time they throw out some stupid, made up, piece of propaganda a bunch of people believe it because they want to have some dirt to throw around.

Look at the teabaggers!

In addition, I have a very intelligent cousin who argued with me about President Obama not doing anything "the whole time we's been in office" and all the other crap that that gets pushed by the RW.

We need to have a leaft wing "Limbaugh type" to make up stuff and twist the spin on things and see what kind of response we get from the Repugs!!

That is why Mr. Hartmann's solution is the best one: Turn off FoxNews. Only tea baggers are going to believe what they hear there, and they aren't voting for Obama or any other candidate this side of Attila the Hun.

The only thing you get from Rush or Sean or Beck or . . . is this kind of crap that only another right wing moron will believe. How many independent voters in swing states believe that Obama is a secret Muslim or that Sandra Fluke is a White House agent? Not very many. If they were ever pissed at Obama, it was because they thought the recovery from Bush's economic collapse was taking too long.

We don't need a Limbaugh of the left or a liberal FoxNews to promote our own made up conspiracy theories. We don't need to make up conspiracy theories. Getting the truth out is sufficient to rebut these kinds of attacks. There are no death panels. Middle class taxes are lower. The economy is no longer hemorrhaging jobs as it was during the years that the usurper occupied the White House.

That's all you need to beat the right.

Thanks Jack. You are right they will trip themselves up.

It just irks me that the FCC allows the lies and
allows FOX to call itself a News station instead of
a "broadcast of opinion"

I'll be glad when the election is over and we can
resume forward motion for the lives and liberty
of the American people...

Later..
