If we get serious about ending the right-wing attacks on American values, we may end up actually being glad we have all this anti-domestic-terrorist apparatus in place already.

As it is, they won't get the egg of their collective face until well into Obama's second term.

ALEC cannot design legislation to simply disenfranchise women. A campaign to intimidate women going to the polls doesn't sound like a winning strategy, either. So what are they going to do? Call them names? That's what got them into trouble.

At this point, few of them are advocating more of

because they seem to think that they're going to get the election no matter who runs or how people vote. A clear and solid failure of that tactic might calm them down, or it might not.
