first video, it sounds like Republicans such as Ron Paul and Ted Cruz are banking on people buying the false equivalence between the two major parties and developing cynicism about the whole system. Republicans are probably hoping that by them messing around and not doing anything, people will blame both parties for our problems instead of just the main culprits, and sit out elections. You know a political party is pathetic when they basically have to hope for low turnout amongst the other side.
