Steve Schmidt on Morning Joe says HBO's Game Change was "very accurate."

He said watching it gave him a little bit of PTSD at times. He called the lack of proper vetting of Palin "reckless." He called Palin "manifestly unprepared" to take the oath of office and said that the idea of Sarah Palin as president "frightens me."

When asked if he thought Palin had a role to play in the future of the Republican party, Schmidt responded, "I hope not," and says that she has done nothing since the 2008 campaign to address her deficiencies in knowledge. He describes Palin as "filled with anger and with a divisive message."

OUCH!

selfish reasons? In the trailer clip he said to Palin, "It's not about you, it's about the country". Obviously he wasn't thinking of the country when he pushed her onto John McCain. Think he should be held accountable on that front, even though he has apologized. As long as she is making 12M a year, she is not going to shut up, and will continue to sell herself to the highest bidder.
