THIS is what the fight in the democratic party has become.
Profits or people. It is really bad/sad that he was Obama's chief of staff. The Chicago political machine still thrives and in large part has been responsible for the direction that this administration took and still follows...IMO
The once, Democratic party of FDR, left most of it's constituents, because of greed.
We are seeing a few real Democrats fighting this trend. They have made a difference but there is a long left turn that needs
navigating.
One great Independent Senator kept the FDR values alive, thankfully some real Democrats have joined him...Senator Warren especially.
Whether most will admit it or not, Bernie Sanders has been the most consistent and proven FDR Democrat even though
as a man ahead of his time, he chooses to be a Democratic Socialist.
IMO, being an Independent has allowed him the freedom to do what is best for Americans without the dlc pressure.
Since he has his own avatar here, on DU, indicates that I may not be alone in my analysis.
IF he decides to run in 2016, real Democrats will flock to his campaign and with a clear conscience, he has upheld
Democratic principles for decades.
