Is America always at war?



For years and years the US has been involved in wars. Many have gained from the US being in combat and the military industrial complex has multiplied its profits from these conflicts. Many believe that freedom isn't free and their right, it is costing the US taxpayers. So is America consistently under threat of war or trying to impose their will across the world? "Why We Fight" and "The Fog of War" not withstanding.

And the modern Crusade Decade just made things worse, but watch what happens as drone-tech makes the old model obsolete: fire sale, anyone?
