Proverb: "The Douchebaggishness of Your Enemies Does You Honor."
There's an old Chinese prover that says "The Courage of your Enemies Does You Honor."
I think in modern day politics we have to modify that to say "The Boorishness of your Enemies Does Your Ratings Honor."
I've always thought Kathleen Sebelius was a good politician, and had a lot of potential as a Democratic candidate on the national stage. Her name was even floated around DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND many times as a VP Candidate for some of the folks in the 2008 primaries. Her only problem was that she DIDN'T HAVE A HIGH ENOUGH PROFILE.
Well...I'd say that nothing could raise her profile more, and do her more good than to be seen standing up for herself against a bunch of bullying, boorish redneck assholes who are trying to intimidate her. It worked for Hilary Clinton (nothing did her career more good than having a stupid bull elephant seal like Newt Gingrich after her), and it'll work for Susan Rice and Kathleen Sebelius!
