Don the Snake Prudhomme, one of John's hero's, once said; "Force is the only guy in all of motorsports where the fans still love him even when he's winning."

I find John's drag racing career to be the embodiment of the American Spirit; True grit, determination, hustle and never give up. Work hard and get good people and let them do what they're good at.

John's had some adversity; His team lost driver Eric Medlin who'd dad John was his crew cheif, while testing Monday after the Gatornationals in 2007. The cause was the most severe case of tire shake in drag racing history. That September, John's chassis broke racing Kenny Bernstein and the cars collided. John had serious injuries, but worked real hard in rehab to get back to racing.

He has three daughters, all professional nitro car drivers. Ashley has taken time off to raise a family and she won an AOL contest for most attractive female athlete.

He's losing Ford and Castrol at the end of 2014, but if anybody could find replacements, John can.

Another cool thing about Force is that he is very close to his blue collar roots and never forgets where he came from. It would be nice if our .01% PTB had comparable strength of character. John's an honorable guy. Our .01% have less honor than predatory animals.
