Thom Hartmann: What's McCarthy 2.0 up to now?

If Joseph McCarthy were alive today - chances are he'd be pretty jealous of Congressmen Darrell Issa's combative rhetoric and never-ending Washington witch-hunts. What's McCarthy 2.0 up to now - and isn't time we gave this taxpayer-robbing congressman the boot?

As McCarty did when he overstepped his boundaries and fall down in flames - ruined his professional life, and ended his life as an outcast, and an alcoholic with a lot of demons on his hand - the possibility of Isa's possibility of overstep HIS bounders, and he will go down in flames - possible the same way the original McCarthy did in the 1950s... What is the chances mr ISSA would not try to do as McCarthy did, attack the president - or the armed forces when he goes off the deep end ?... It was not before Joseph McCarthy did that, he got burned - and was flaming out...

recognized McCarthy wannabe. Then there's Cruz in the Senate, covering the rest of the determined, wingnut bases. Ironically Cruz got set down pretty quickly, for now (I don't believe he'll give up). Issa never got a similar reaction. Both are highly supported by their bases, it seems. Crazy that their nationally minority supporters appear to have such influence.
