Me suspect, that Billoraily would never understand what communism, or socialism is, if it was in front of him, in fact I doubt he will be able to understand what Universal Health care is, if he was given the possibility to be treated by it...
Mostly because he is to stupid to understand it...

(856 posts)Thank you Playinghardball for posting the Rewrite. Bill O'Reilly is also in Lawrence's opening segment w/Howard Dean & Richard Wolffe. The Last Word opening segment is a must see & is followed by an excellent analysis of Obamacare. The link is listed below:

(6,151 posts)What an awful excuse for a human being. You know he claims to be a Christian and historian, yet in his latest book also claims that Jesus came to die to lift his people's tax burden. Apparently, Jesus was all about the $ and nothing else, so why should the GOP be any different?

(6,151 posts)Another of Billo's comments I heard straight from his mouth on an interview show: that the disciples were not taken from the working class of the day, not really. They'd been quite wealthy before the Romans reduced them to menial work as fishermen. (So you see, boys and girls, God does favor the rich and the 7 Mountains creed will tell you send all your $ to them, and if you do, they might leave you a scrap or two of stale bread under the table but that's more than you deserve because you're under God's curse of poverty. If you were good people you'd be rich.) A pox on his house!
Billo personifies heresy. But the GOP sheeple, at least the ones who can read, will eat it all up and try their best to lift this poverty curse by sending TPs every penny they can scrape together. Take food out of their own baby's mouth to save it from hellfire and destruction.

(6,151 posts)I didn't read the book itself, just heard Billo blabbing about it ad nauseum on several interview shows when it came out and I was sick in bed. In my illness I'd been leaving the remote all sorts of mysterious places and half the time didn't know where it was even if I'd felt able to go get it. Which I didn't. Torture of the damned and trapped. After hearing Billo hawk that garbage for well over an hour total, you couldn't make me read the book if you threatened me with burning at the stake. I already know the high (and low) points quite well enough, thank you!

(4,757 posts)watching him for an half hour... I cannot even watch the clips on the Daily Show.

(6,151 posts)Otherwise I'd have turned him off too. Reading short articles in which he's featured is about my natural limit. Must do that much because we fail to know our enemy at our own peril. But enough's enough!

(37,161 posts)Was that somewhere in Billo's full segment?
If you put words in his mouth, it doesn't help.
