is also behind the "split" you get to see on DU between people that cheer for the team and those that see all these "victories" as pale in light of the very, very ugly truth, imho.

I find it weird that all kinds of speculation are allowed in GD, but some speculation is off limits. It seriously bothers me, even if I can understand open speculation might open DU up to "easy" criticism from outside.

But I do understand.

It is a control device, that the CIA developed long ago...you flood the place with crazy conspiracies to discredit the real ones...I believe they call it disinformation.
And it works quite well....and I have no answer for how to counter it.
