3. Why am I not surprised that Jim Jordan was among those who met in Ted Cruz's basement?

Just who is Jordan answering to? His constituents? Or the Koch-Brothers-funded Heritage Foundation, by proxy from that teabagging senator from Texas? That idiot Jordan is the biggest RW tool I've met, Boehner included. Every time I see him at a meeting, which is usually some "business forum" or Chamber of Commerce-type meeting, he brings out his dog and pony show about how the federal government wastes so much money and it's all the liberal Democrats' fault. But I have yet to hear him agree to any cuts of any level in military spending, largely because there's a big-ass General Dynamics tank plant in his district. Never mind there about 1200 of those tanks just setting around and rusting. He rationalizes that we've got to continue making those tanks for our national security.

At a recent meeting, I saw that he brought his son along, probably to groom him for a government job so that he can suck a paycheck from the taxpayers like so many other Republicans in our area. For people like Jordan, any kind of government spending is a waste unless it benefits him, his family and friends.
