18. Cruz is still a Canadian. The Canadian government has a long process to renounce your citizenship...

... and even when/if Cruz's citizenship is deemed void by Canada - the fact will still main he was BORN in Canada on Canadian soil and he did not come to the USA until he was four years old.

And no he does not have the same right as John McCain - they facts in the two cases are very different.

McCain was born on a military base which was considered to be American soil.

Cruz is a US citizen but he is not a 'natural born citizen'.

There have been hundreds of birther suits that Obama has had to deal with (and is still dealing with) and Obama was BORN in Hawaii.
