(52,589 posts)I appreciate his efforts. Truth is, I don't think we are at a unified theory yet though. I will read his thesis though. Not sure I buy the 10 dimensions. Seems like he is trying to prove string theory is unified but I doubt he can prove and explain singularities yet.

(492 posts)I say that fondly and with enormous love -- maybe like -- for the Bare Naked Ladies Bing Bang Theory theme song, which now takes third place, behind Tom Lehrer's Gilbert and Sullivan take on the periodic table, which is now in second place.
I still don't get string theory -- except as a way of describing the sub-particle universe. If it, umm, actually does that. Maybe I'm thinking of something else. At any rate, the production values, the lyrics, all were absolutely superb.
This kid (hey, I'm 68) is brilliant and it is especially wonderful to see a human mind so multi-talented and happy!
