(56,828 posts)A lot of the GOP talking points crash and burn, but a lot of them stick, too. (I remember Newt asking Republicans to call the War on Terror "World War 3" in order to increase the popularity and urgency of the war in Iraq.)

(6,829 posts)The MSM narrative that this is a matter of failed negotiations between the two parties is a remarkable display of MSM BULLSHIT. Look at all the MSM hacks "reporting" factually wrong and very misleading information! The ACA is no longer subject to any more negotiations. It is the law of the land that withstood two Presidential elections with a clear mandate in favor and it also passed the scrutiny of the Supreme Court. The extremest Tea Party Republicans are engaged in extortion, which I thought was illegal? Who the hell could possibly benefit from all this; i.e., just how stupid do people like Cruz think Americans are, anyway?

(429 posts)As usual, Jon Stewart explains the insanity that is the republican party and how they think and act, so much clearer than the so called media. Why can't even MSNBC let alone ABC, and the rest of the fake media do this???
