Pattern of turning a profit and closing public schools and making profit making charter schools unless the groundswell becomes sufficient to halt the flow...question is, will this happen? Americans are right now distracted into other concerns like keeping the job, maintaining a home, etc. Other distractions like TV, celebrity gossip, etc. drain away time and energy too. Bottom line is Do Americans care enough to galvanize against the onslaught that is happening to their public schools?
