ALEC, KOCHS, BIG BUSINESSES, AND REVOLVING DOOR "Educators" that bounce back into the board rooms or CEO jobs...The concept of Race to the Top sounds like a cheap TV program instead of a caring program designed to challenge and draw out the best from each student. I loved the classroom in the "good ole days" and feel that this current cycle of corporatizing the classroom is a total mistake designed not for students but profits. It has to change, and this gets tougher with each institutional change made to the "system". It's been a heist comparable to the banksters or wall street...very sad.
