She was trying to convince me that all law is based on morality. I argued that ethics and morality are related but distinct. I think I used a beehive analogy. Bees have morals, hives have ethics. Something like that.

And as I said everyone had recently turned out to protest the governor so I think they decided not to stress the police unnecessarily and that it wasn't worth trying to organize on the fly.
