Cenk discusses how the Obama administration sides with Karl Rove in regard to trumped up charges against Don Siegelman, eventhough a plurality of both conservative and liberal district attorneys believe the case is a sham.

I did some research and the arguement made by Elana Kagan and the justice depart. was in Nov. 2009. The President was just barely in office. This is a justice dept. issue not the executidve branch. To blame Obama adminitration making it seem that Obama is at fault is mis-placed. It turns out that the justice department and kagan lost that battle and Siegelman will have his appeal.

I forgot to say that the role of the Justice dept is prosecutor. She has to do her job or appear to do her job to argue the case for the government. I only know of one case where the government did not defend a case and that was DOMA.
