For those like me who find video too slow . . . this is partly my interpretation, and not complete:
Hypocrisy of gov't complaining of Snowden's leaking classified info, then they leak more classified info about him.
McClatchy reported the gov't's Insider Threat program that equates all leaking to "aiding the enemy."
Obama admin prosecuting 2x as many whistleblowers as all previous admins combined.
Admin has now leaked the classified info that terrorists are changing their methods in response to Snowden's leaked info as if terrorists are so smart that we have to give up all civil liberties in order to protect ourselves from them, but they're so dumb that they didn't know the gov't might be reading their emails 'til Snowden leaked.
But we know that terrorists were already using encryption to evade gov't surveillance.
Another type of leak used against Snowden: to reveal that Snowden's passport had been revoked; it was illegal to leak this, because of the Privacy Act.
Also, it was illegal for anyone to reveal there'd been a sealed indictment against Snowden, yet that too found its way into the news.
So hypocritical for the gov't to be illegally leaking about Snowden while calling for his head.
Moreover, Snowden's clearly a whistleblower, not a spy; so absurd to be indicting him under the Espionage Act. If he were a traitor, he'd have been working for an enemy nation {and, my addition, he'd already have given them the info and be safely harbored there}; or he could have sold the info for a fortune.
All the other traditional methods for Snowden to try to achieve more transparency about the NSA surveillance have been cut off; among other things, Congress has consistently voted down amendments designed to provide even just a little more transparency or oversight.
