I used to say that I must have died at woodstiock and been reincarnated, cuz the music feels so familiar to me.

for sure many people back then did not "get" Jimi - but there's always a section of every generation who do appreciate the best guitarist ever

He was an army paratrooper in the early 60's.

He toured in Little Richards band on and off.

Liked the Three Stooges.

in 1970. The Beatles broke up, Jimi died, and Janis Joplin died. The final nail in the coffin was Jim Morrison's death in 1971.
