have happened then? Without fuel the plane would have crashed before it was able to reach Bolivia. With some everything is a conspiracy, guess it doesn't take much to make some happy.

Then it would have landed in the Azores and refueled for the flight to Bolivia...that is the point.
And they new before the plane left the ground where it was going and his route was approved then, but canceled when he was in the air...forceing him to land in Austria...
That is the point...

They knew the moment the plane left the ground all about it and where it was going...and on the radar scope any ATC could click on the image and read the transponder.
There is no guess work in ATC...and they are highly professional.
