3. How stupid.

First off, yes, the 15 did make a mistake, but 15 year olds aren't exactly the most responsible of people. Their brains aren't close to fully developed yet.

However, a felony charge for doing this is absolutely ridiculous. The common sense thing to do would be to have the police come in and scare her, tell her parents, delete the photos, get suspended or something, and then move on. What sense would it make to ruin her future over something she did when she was 15 with someone else who I presume is also her age?

I thought these laws exist to protect kids? Who is being protected here?

That'll teach her to BRAG about being a SLUT.

Make an example of her.

Go all "Scarlet Letter" on her. Break out the stocks and have the whole town toss old produce at her.

You can also read about these "revenge sex sites" where people post videos of themselves having sex (ostensibly with their former partners). why do these people make movies of their private moments, and then distribute them? Like Pakman & his staff say, this is a parenting issue.

But who protects her little brother or sister, or someone in the school, that may see her iPhone photo. I don't believe she should be charged as an adult, but these type of acts need to have consequences behind them. 15 is NOT too young to understand the fallout to these acts.
