1988 Ron Paul on Morton Downey Jr.

This is really interesting. If you don't remember Morton Downey, Jr, he was an outspoken talk show host in the 80s who chain smoked on the air (and died of lung cancer). His shows were pretty rowdy.

He really gives it to Ron Paul here. So does his audience. And Charlie Rangel is interviewed over the phone.

I wonder how many of these morons are now on the Ron Paul bandwagon? Probably not that many, since the hard-line right wingers still don't like him.

just as wacko as Paul. Yelling about how the CIA wasn't conducting illegal wars in Latin America and such. The one guy who blamed liberals for "forcing" Oliver North to break the law haha what a bunch of clowns.

should have the right to privacy in deciding whether they wish to use drugs or not.

Downy comes up with some BS about whether that gives us "the right to kill a four year old," ( I have no idea where that jump of logic came from) Paul then makes the point of telling Downey his cigarette is the most deadly drug.

Of course Downey cuts Paul off, goes on to die of lung cancer and now we find out cannabis has cancer fighting properties.

Go figure?

As a side note that's the most animated version that I've ever seen of Paul.

Thanks for the thread, proud2BlibKansan.
