Thom Hartmann: The Reagan Revolution is an Utter Failure

Mike Papantonio, Ring of Fire Radio, joins Thom Hartmann. SCOTUS gave Big Pharma a free pass. While all the media's attention was focused on high-profile cases involving the Voting Rights Act and same-sex marriage - our nine unelected monarchs made a decision that could literally mean life or death for many Americans. On Monday - the Court issued its ruling in the case of Mutual Pharmaceutical Company v. Bartlett - striking yet another blow against our ability to hold drug companies accountable for the dangerous side effects of their products.

The banksters (including foreign banksters) helped tank the economy and then received American taxpayer dollars.

Manufacturing jobs have been shipped to foreign countries, and will never return.

Reaganism has succeeded way beyond any of Reagan's dreams. With respect to commercial flying, he only wanted to destroy the air-traffic controllers' union. He never dreamed that Americans would be lining up in airports to either get unwanted feel-ups ("pat-downs" per Orwell-speak) or otherwise go through radiation-emitting scanners to benefit the stockholders of the scanning equipment.

He never dreamed that the federal government would have mutiple spy agencies spying on all Americans.

Reagan could care less about those Mississippi white supremacist. It was all a strategy for the 1% even to this day. He has one decent son though.
