They seem to use every possible opportunity to talk about people having sex with animals, that is, when they are not loading up their online comments with graphic descriptions of gay sex.

As I've been asking for years now, what on earth is WRONG with these people?

No matter whether you get some Smokey Joe to say magic words at some ceremony - marriage is still only a contract, and you have to be able to legally sign a contract.

You get a license from the court, you may have to get tests, both parties sign the certificate, you affirm your intentions before a magistrate or his representative, and then it gets filed with - a court.

No? If you want a divorce, whom do you call first? Your priest - or your lawyer?

What kind of a sick, perverted mind would think of such a thing? Rand Paul is not alone when it comes to crazy thoughts among Republicans.

Unlike being gay, which is something you're either born with or you're not, choosing to be a hateful, bigoted, crazy talking, politician IS a choice. If anything should be legislated, it should be that CRAZY PEOPLE can't serve in Congress. That would save a lot of time and money for the American taxpayers, and greatly improve the functioning of government.

It seems the GOP immediately thinks of sex, marrying an animal or relations with members of their family whenever gay rights are mentioned. Weird fetishes they have, those republicans.

I don't believe gays or our allies are lining up to marry their ottoman or pet snake, Ms. Hiss. Well, that slip cover is looking pretty sexy there, ottoman.

Pat Robertson once said
It's a long downward slide
That'll lead to legalizing sex with ducks
If two men can stand side by side

God, I hope he's right
'Cause if gay marriage becomes lawful
Gonna find myself a duck
And legally do
Something awful (awful, awful)

In print, on TV, enshrined in law. They are quite gleeful about having the opportunity to be able to say being gay = bestiality on talk shows and for the cameras. Happy to make their real feelings known to young gay people.
Never thought my feelings would get to this, but I am starting to feel that people in my life who feel this way are less than human.
I can't help it.
