1. This worries me

We get this thing about PRISM. Our feelings on being spied on being used and abused by our government and sight of our government as an extended arm of most corporations grows. This suddenly happens, uncharitctaristcly, swiftly. Yes there's evidence of feeling among the GOP of lost of votes, but they seem to be adjusting that already by what's happening with the damage being done to the Voting Rights Act.

All I'm saying is, to me, it seems political theater. Some kind of "See? See? We're doing something. We're effective. Check out the end of DOMA the Immigration Reform." etc etc. Suddenly, in a spare few weeks what has been going on for years to decades is getting wrapped up in weeks.

These issuse of course had to be dealt with eventually. But all at once in short order just makes it unbelievable, and uncanny and I sense the worst of motives. Besides apended to this immigration reform seems to be a militarizing of the border.

May it be just paranoia on my part.
