The debate over the use of medical marijuana has been going on for more than a decade in America. Even as some states have made it legal for medicinal, and occasionally recreational, purposes, the use of marijuana is still seen a social stigma by many. Ring of Fire host Mike Papantonio discusses the pros and cons of medical marijuana with political consultant Ben Pollara.

2. Arguably the time period of greatest Marijuana usage by the most diverse

percentage of the population was the 1960s and 1970s. These people are now middle aged and have watched the war on drugs escalating and failing for nearly half a century (my whole life). I would say that 80% of the people I've met in my life have admitted to at least trying it.
If you exclude the legal issues of marijuana, it has had a minimal impact on the society of America. Twenty+ years of ad hoc research has proven that. Marijuana causes less social problems than alcohol.
