Just like in California the FBI and local police went after the Black Panthers. Often with trumped up charges or they went in and killed them and lied about the reason behind the shooting, like they did in Chicago with Fred Hampton.

There is a lot more going on here. Thank you for sharing this informative video Chisox08. I've checked out the Assata Shakur wiki page, and many other videos listed at the bottom of that feature article. Also, just ordered her autobiography and Angela Davis' autobiography. And put in netflix queue documentaries about Shakur and Davis. Fascinating and riveting information. One must learn about the time period. Black activists were targeted by the FBI. Cointelpro (counterintelligence program) specifically harassed and in some cases murdered them.
