O’Donnell Tears Into WH Press Corps: They Think ‘Their Questions Are More Important Than The President’s Answer’

Lawrence O’Donnell opened his show tonight taking the White House press corps to task for trying to take President Obama‘s press conference today and trying to make themselves the story. O’Donnell observed that recently the press corps has been less concerned with asking substantive questions and more with trying to make their own questions the story instead. O’Donnell said the press corps considers their questions to be more important than the answers, and declared that they “want to hog the cameras for themselves.”

Big Daddy Russert had W in his clutches and gave him a pass. Tom Brokaw is the master model for hogging the screen. Then there is Tweety who shifts his temper constantly. O'Donnell will not look close to home, he gave Chuckie a pass today.

Lawrence needs to exercise caution or he could become Sarah Palin the lamest politician in decades complaining about the lame stream media. I saw the same segment and agreed with his observation but really he should stop throwing stones in the house.
