3. Rebelling against the U.S. government is futile.

To fight an force must be able to resupply, move, communicate, and shoot. Resupply from captured government ammo is a fantasy. All modern rebellions require outside supply. Movement, with modern surveillance is next to impossible. Secure communications will be extremely hard as the government will listen to everything you say. You might do some limited shooting but the lack of those other three will shut you down in a hurry.
