but thanks for posting anyway.

Also good timing in the respect that currently the US is concerned that Syria MAY have used chemical weapons whilst making no mention of the fact that Israel has STOPPED using phosphorus shells which mean they had in fact used them. Use of either are war crimes and the US as per usual picks and chooses criticism.

It was called tin foil hat conspiracy bullshit. Kudos to Al Jazeera for documenting the truth.

... regardless of how revolting it is. Only when the American People sees this can they understand what we as a country do when we go to war. If we can't get it on regular MSM, then take the tape to county and state fairs all over this country and set up booths with chairs and just show it all day and night long. Allow only 18 yr-olds and above in to see it. We kill while we're in country, then kill when we leave with drones, then we maim for centuries with the depleted uranium weapons, tanks, etc left behind. Might this be why "they hate us?"

but Professor Doug Rokke, the former US Army health phycicist who served in Iraq, gave talks on this in Seattle for a long time.

Now it's nearly impossible to find anything with his name except people saying DU wasn't bad. He gave detailed talks and said it was in his bone marrow. He is mentioned in Wikipedia under the entry for the movie, Paying the Price: Killing the Children of Iraq..

He may be dead and claimed the death toll and disability from Iraq was much higher than has been revealed. It was in a story in the Seattle Post - Intelligencer written by Larry Johnson, 'Iraqi Cancers, Birth Defects Blamed on US Depleted Uranium.'

I can't find a mainstream source. All of the first search results claim this is a fraud, the second ones go off into woo. I thought this was established. EOM.

-I gave up with this expert after listing a few links.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=466758

-Look at this horse shit:

17. DU is less radioactive than let's say dirt or bananas.

"If there was an increase in birth defects, I doubt uranium had anything to do with it."

-Well I will say that it isn't the radiation that causes health problems ...it's the heavy metal particles that get inhaled.

...and then this:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=467248

"I'm related to a nuclear engineer."

-There ya go ...a real expert.

He worked at Los Alamos Nat. Labs, Lawrence Livermore Nat. Labs and Sandia Nat. Labs as well as White Sands Missile Range. He is an expert in hot atom Chemistry and worked hands on with all kinds of radioactive stuff for the Gov. He knows as well as anyone what levels are dangerous and years ago he was telling me how dangerous DU was. I sent this video to him the other day.

They have scrubbed the web of pertinent information about the strength and rate of particle emission from DU. My sources have dried up but I know what I have read about the affects of particle emission on human cells and the life span of those emissions.

'Beyond argument'

The one British veteran to have received the results of his test, Shaun Rusling, of the National Gulf War Veterans' and Families Association, was shown to be still passing DU in his urine eight years after the war.

Malcolm Hooper, emeritus professor of medicinal chemistry at the University of Sunderland, says the new research provides "unequivocal evidence that will stand up to technical examination by anyone".

Professor Hooper, who advises Gulf veterans' groups, told BBC News Online: "This puts the whole thing beyond dispute. It is a breakthrough."

the baby with the parasitic twin and the abdominal defect could have surgery and grow up perfectly normal. The baby looks like he/she has completely normal features and limbs. The parasitic twin would be able to provide enough skin to cover the abdominal defect. I hope he/she gets the necessary care. There is no hope for the others pictured. We actually did this? My god!

has been screaming about depleted uranium for years. He works in hot atom chemistry and knows as well as anyone how radioactive something must be and still be dangerous. People breath in the dust and if just one tiny radioactive dust particle gets stuck inside your lung you are doomed.

We the Americans are officially the worst people walking on this world. I felt so bad and horrified for Iraqis who are trying to expand their families by giving the birth to babies. That is very very unfortunate. As a father of two boys 3 and 1 and proud supporter of Iraqis, I feel so helpless. God help them please!

My government of America, you truly are the worst people in the world. We as Americans are the second worst. Unfortunate I feel a lot less patriotic toward our so-called democracy government. I rather to stand with Iraqis.
