Systematic Chaos
(8,601 posts)I don't know what her problem is, but I'm glad as hell I don't have it.
Old and In the Way
(37,540 posts)I have a hard time taking her seriously. Sure seems like a Colbert-type conservative, if you ask me.

(37,540 posts)She comes across as someone who is playing their idea of a conservative. I really have only seen her a couple of times talking like a ditzy conservative...this tape and something from 4 years ago. Regardless, I guess she's passed muster with the paranoid CPAC braintrust, if she's the real deal, I'm glad she's not representing our ideals.

she is more bat-shit-crazy than even Palin and Bachmann.

(5,105 posts)I have heard she was considered funny on the show.
Now, of course, everyone knows it wasn't an act.
Perfect VP for Grinch, IMO.

How about "not invited" for being annoying, unfunny, no-talent and stupid. And now she's not even hot anymore- arguably the only thing she had going for her in the first place.

excerpts --
** The Washington Post once described her thusly: "If you opened her head, it would be filled with cotton candy."
** At age 22, Victoria met Nelson "Nisan" Eventoff. He was a fire-eater and sword-swallower who played the piano in blackface. She was smitten.
** Nerve.com recently ranked her dead last of 92 SNL cast members and wrote that her "cute-ditsy-idiot act got pretty thin, [and] it turns out it wasn't an act."
** "No, no, no," agent Dolores Robinson clucks when relayed her former client's claim that she quit SNL. "They dropped her."
** But then she discovered something life-changing: When she talked about Obama being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, people watched and cared. And job offers started coming.
Old and In the Way
(37,540 posts)Like so many others who have hitched on for the economic ride...maybe there was a career to be had, based on being ID'd as a tea party comedienne. Certainly not making it any other way.
