Ukulele Virtuoso plays "As My Guitar Gently Weeps" Amazing sound by Jake Shimabukuro. The other

night I attended a concert where he played and I couldn't believe my ears. He even plays Bohemian Rhapsody.......on a Ukulele........ and a really sweet guy as well.

While I was watching, I thought, "the dude's got amazing hands," but in the end, it is the heart which he puts into that instrument that truly makes it sing.

I discovered Jake this last year when a coworker heard a piece on NPR and bought the CD, 'Peace Love Ukulele'. I then saw all his Youtube material, then felt compelled to buy a ukulele. After hearing him, you will no longer see visions of Tiny Tim when you see a uke!

Incredible talent! I'm looking forward to catching him on a tour of the southeast.

and how he is just getting used to playing with his wedding ring on lol......he tells these little stories in between songs and it is so endearing. I met him after the concert, (which by the way had another performer, David Benoit, joining Jake for a few numbers) and he was just a very cool guy, sweet, soft spoken and obviously, talented.
