President Obama's Full Speech on Reducing Gun Violence - Hartford, CT

Published on Apr 8, 2013
With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he's "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws.

Ya know like, getting in the face of Boner, et al on TV, Oval Office telecasts on 6PM news. Special Address to repukes, uh Joint Session of Congress on CNN. Show em you're a little pissed.

not to adopt the chained CPI.

I really don't want to hear his voice right now.

Chained CPI... Thatcher is a freedom fighter...

I suppose he will suggest that we work together with the NRA to create "common sense" gun bills.

I sincerely hope he hasn't stooped that low yet.

From what I have read my response to him as a liberal and Progressive was calculated and given his bipartisan efforts inevitable. It is really an odd position I feel apathy toward Barak Obama even on issues I somewhat agree. At least I do hold the overwhelming hatred of President Obama that prevails among the right wing President Obama apparently values when he promoted chained CPI.

Something does need to be done about firearms. Maybe his words carry weight with someone, not me. Let him keep trying but sorry this supporter has been burnt once too often.
