3. This happens in Oakland All the Time

This is an on-going reality for people in Oakland who are trying to take democracy into their own hands and create a place where people can build an alternative to this sick system we live in now. There is no way our govt. is going to allow us to create a new paradigm that reflects TRUE democracy....the 1 percent just won't have it.

I encourage people to stop relying on a corrupt system that will only throw crumbs at best and the cops at worst to address our REAL issues...economic/environmental and social injustice.
