So, who have been the big winners in the Age of Bernanke? The very people who were supposed to be the bête noires of the age of Obama: the large financial institutions. In 2013, the top four banks controlled more than 40 percent of the credit markets in the top 10 states, up by 10 percent from 2009 and roughly twice their share in 2000. At the same time, since the passage of the Dodd-Frank financial regulations, there are some 330 fewer small banks. Under the current regime, the oligopolization of the credit markets will continue apace, as much, or even more, than if Mitt Romney had won the presidency.

And, we have to do something we've never done... be willing to suffer, or we'll never make good on our promise to our children.

I mean, why go on blissfully living inside the big lie? Because you believe it, that's why.

We have not become the people we thought we'd be... free thinking... with a quest for knowledge, not blobs walking around looking at their palms.

On edit... I'm pretty pissed off because I believe more than ever lately that what I am experiencing at a local level demonstrates how stupid, non-thinking and willing to be led around with nose rings. Of course, I'll get over this slump, but I think it's quite true. The energy that is put into doing right sometimes makes you feel that you HAVE no where to go but UP!

I have no hope. I see no future. During the weekends 50-60,000 people fill pro and college football stadiums and even more go to NASCAR races. If those same number of people would get in the streets and have mass protest and get fighting mad maybe it might trigger a movement. Learn to throw rocks like a Palestinian. We need an Arab Spring.

The small minority(thankfully) that believe anything that Limpbutt, or Beckkk say have been the problem. Just a bunch of ignorant, uneducated sheeple that breed more ignorance.
