In today's Brief: China pressures Nepal to crack down on Tibetan refugees; attacks on aid providers in Burma; Obama disappoints in Saudi Arabia; Uganda's anti-gay law; atrocities & the arms trade; Iran's role in Syria; and migrants rescued off Crete.

Nepal has imposed increasing restrictions on Tibetans living in the country as a result of strong pressure from China. Tibetan refugee communities in Nepal now face a de facto ban on political protests, sharp restrictions on public activities promoting Tibetan culture and religion, and routine abuses by Nepali security forces.
