KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
A Missouri state representative is the subject of increased security after he received harsh letters, emails and tweets because of a bill he introduced in the Legislature.
Rep. Randy Dunn, a Democrat from Kansas City, proposed House Bill 1940 which proposes changes to the Castle Doctrine, Missouri's version of the Stand Your Ground law.
"Your legislation is intended only to protect the white trash and street n****** in their assaults, armed robberies and home invasions. It's that kind of filth that elected you to office," one person wrote to him after he introduced the legislation.
"You are a disgrace to the office you hold and the good people of Missouri should pray that your kind of thinking ends up in the growing trash heap," another person wrote to him.

Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa for coming to Oregon. Missouri is beautiful and a lot of people I know are moving there because its cheaper than Alaska but I am glad to be west coast people.
