Boston Marathon bombing suspect called mother during shootout.

One of the two brothers suspected of setting the bombs that killed three at the Boston Marathon last week, allegedly called his mother as authorities moved in on him early Friday morning, according to story in The Wall Street Journal.
According to the story, Tamerlan Tsarnaeva, 26, phoned his mother as the shootout with law enforcement began and said, "The police, they have started shooting at us, they are chasing us. Mama, I love you." The line went dead after that, the boys' mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva said.
The shootout ended with Tamerlan shot, burned when a homemade pressure cooker-encased bomb exploded, and then run over by his brother, Dzhokhar, 19, as he fled the scene. Dzhokhar would be found later that day, severely injured, hiding in a boat in the backyard of a home in Watertown, Mass.
The story goes on to describe Tamerlan's continued move toward stricter Islamic traditions, at one point asking his mother to "cover up."
