my daughters smoke pot but i think it messed up their head. they dont make any sense half the time. i dont think smoking it is a good idea becuase you dont think straight. they end up with one guy or the next all the time and all they care about is if he has smoke. it always ends up no good.

You didn't say how old they were, but I agree smoking cannabis is something
most adolescents do not handle well, sadly.
But most teens don't handle alcohol or other drugs "well" either.

Still, if they are abusing it, and NOT drinking or doing other drugs, then what they are doing is
much more recoverable from than alcohol or hard drug abuse.

Numerous Kids tend to abuse lots and lots of things, not only pot.
That is just a part of American youth culture--A culture of "live for today", distrust of adults,
live for pleasure/hedonism, and CONSUME CONSUME CONSUME.

But that comes from American commercial culture and media IN GENERAL, in the name of selling things,
NOT from cannabis.

5. I like how the "Legalize Pot" campaign has

changed the slogan to "Re-legalize Pot". It draws attention to the fact that not long ago it was not only legal but Hemp was a major industry in America. Pot should never have been lumped in with serious addictive narcotics like heroin. Saying it is a "gateway" drug is foolish and would be even more ridiculous if pot were legal.

Pot is only a gateway drug to better pot.

For naysayers, when was the last we heard of somebody smoking weed and beating his wife? Delirium tremors? Physical addiction? Robbery? Violent crime?

Alcohol is legal in all 50 states, and it is much more deadly than weed has ever been. Furthermore, weed has been PROVEN to have medical benefits--anti-inflammatory, anti-nausea, anti-anxiety, and other benefits I either don't have time to post or am unaware of. Also, big study 2 years ago trying to tie smoking weed to lung cancer--NO correlation which surprised many in the medical field.
