Has Anyone Seen The Environment?
Interesting article from my friend.
http://enviropolitics.wordpress.com/2012/10/23/has-anyone-seen-the-environment/
Sadly, this is an indicator of just how far environmental protection has slipped in the hierarchy of political issues. Demonized by one major political party, abandoned by the other, the environment is an issue that has lost its patrons in the nations political leadership. In the cynical world of modern politics, attention to the environment produces neither the votes nor the money to warrant serious attention during the election cycle. We are left trying to deduce where candidates stand and hope that we can make an educated guess regarding which candidate will best serve environmental issues if elected. Thats a heck of a predicament.

Wouldn't this be a great outcome:
Can you imagine a debate where the two candidates spend time going toe-to-toe on trying to demonstrate which of them is a better choice for promoting protection of the environment?
he's just a smart, level-headed and decent person. I wish he had a better outlet for his writing.

But since you've been a member since 2008, I've probably said that to you before. One of my top 10 movies of all time.
Also -- good article and love the milk carton logo.

One of these days I should probably give up the pirating business. Maybe you could take over the screen name...you'd make a wonderful Dread Pirate Roberts
It is an interesting article. Most of what he writes is really good and always has been.

I would gladly take over. After all, there is very little money in revenge . . .
