PA judge denies challenge to GOP Voter ID law, saying it does not abridge right to vote (!)
http://agonist.org/20120815/pennsylvania_judge_denies_challenge_to_states_voter_id_lawThe judge "found that the civil rights groups failed to show that the law was unconstitutional under all circumstances since it applies to all qualified voters, requiring them to present a photo ID that can be obtained for free".
it doesn't have to be overly burdensome in All cases, just some cases. This is the same rationale they used in the original Poll Tax laws.
