RFK Jr.'s Campaign Fires Staffer Who Revealed the Goal Is to Reelect Donald Trump

Maybe some have missed this like I did.

RFK Jr.’s Campaign Fires Staffer Who Revealed the Goal Is to Reelect Donald Trump
Rita Palma is gone. But how many people who remain on the Kennedy campaign have the same objective?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign has fired staffer Rita Palma, after she told GOP voters that her “number one priority” is stopping Joe Biden from winning the election—not by actually getting Kennedy 270 Electoral College votes, but by using him to play spoiler and reelect Donald Trump. After video of Palma’s remarks surfaced online this week, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, Kennedy’s campaign manager and daughter-in-law, wrote: “We’re looking into whether any misrepresentations were made. Our campaign champions freedom of speech for all our supporters, volunteers, contractors, and staff, as long as they do not claim to speak on our behalf.” Two days later, she said: “We terminated her contract for misrepresentation immediately upon seeing the longer video in which she gave an inaccurate job title and described a conversation that did not happen.”...........

... but if they really wanted Chump to be re-elected, they'd just vote for Chump.

They're not really thinking very hard, or maybe they just don't understand how this works.

Twenty or so years ago, this guy was on Air America. He had a show with Mike Papantonio called "Ring of Fire." That show by that name is still on the air with a different host. Videos are often posted here.

Ring of Fire with RFK jr always offered the very best of progressive liberalism, generally about environmental issues. I almost never missed an episode. RFK jr was the real deal -- a true progressive.

Then, he fell into an anti-vaxxer downward spiral. He went down the rabbit hole. He thought lefties would follow him there. Instead, he found a different following when he arrived at the bottom, where some welcomed him. They screamed his name with joy, for they now had their own personal Kennedy.

Sometimes, people go where they are wanted, and their values change accordingly. For example, MSNBC has numerous former Republicans as regular guests and hosts.

Anti-vaxxers and crazy Kennedy-name worshipers called to RFK jr. He has his fans. They are not us.

No traction, having trouble getting on ballots in states, and now this.

If his goal is to get Trump elected, then shouldn't he be harping on progressive issues to divide them off from Biden, instead of wandering around lost in extremist right wing country?

I really want to give the vast majority of progressive Democrats more credit than to think they are actually considering this guy. I honestly don't think the pollsters are coming anywhere near accuracy in determining where his voters are coming from and how many their might potentially be. I'm not seeing much in the way of ability to sway the election one way or another.
