If the primary "protest vote" to pressure Biden on Israel carries over to November, Gaza is doomed to destruction

https://signalpress.blogspot.com/2024/04/democrats-cannot-afford-to-turn-israeli.html

If the intention of those using the primary votes as a means of "getting the President's attention," or protesting his position on the Israeli-Hamas war, that's one thing. But there needs to be a whole lot more clarity from those who are doing this regarding their message, and their intentions. And if the message they are sending is an ultimatum, that if he doesn't do exactly what they think he ought to do, they will not vote for him in November, then they are making a grave mistake that they will come to regret fairly quickly if Trump wins the election in November.

Those who articulating the content of these protests are all over the place in their messaging. What is their ultimate aim? Are they genuinely interested in stopping the bombing and the attacks that are killing civilians, including women and children, in Gaza, or are they more interested in punishing the President because he's not doing what they think he should be doing? Frankly, from much of the rhetoric, including from Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, of Michigan, it sounds more like they're interested in political gain for themselves, and they're using what's happening in Gaza as a means to get it.

If they really are interested in helping the people of Gaza, then they need to communicate that. There needs to be an acknowledgement, first of all, that in order to achieve this end, they absolutely know, beyond the shadow of any doubt, they must turn out, like all other Democratic constituencies must turn out in November, and re-elect President Joe Biden. Because if he is not re-elected, Gaza will become a desolate ruin, its 2 million residents will become refugees scattered all over the world, or shoved out into the Sinai to become some other country's problem, and anyone who stays behind will be bombed into oblivion. That's what Netanyahu and the far right in Israel want, and that aligns perfectly with what Trump wants.

It's pretty clear that it resolves nothing. The problem is that there's too much expectation left up to human intellect and reason, and too much superstition, conspiracy theory, and unrealistic attitudes putting a stop to it.

…and the West Bank will be the same shortly there after.

Where will the Palestinians go? Anywhere but Gaza and Trump will be A-OK with that.

Protests in Israel are getting large and loud, demands for Netanyahu to step down. The news media seems reluctant to cover what the Biden administration is doing, not only to slow down the destruction and bombing, which has happened, but to get the hostage negotiations moving and figure out how to bring an end to the war, resolving the issue of Israeli security.

How this happened, in a country that has a reputation for the tightest security in the world, must come to light soon.

Anyone who wants a real, workable, realistic solution that will benefit Palestinians has to understand the necessity for making sure Biden is re-elected. Otherwise, any hope for an independent, Palestinian state, or any relief for those who live in the West Bank or Gaza, is doomed. The Republicans won't do anything and Trump wants them wiped out as badly as Netanyahu does.

i think a new election to dumps bibi is coming, sooner than later. but i havent heard anyone talk about an election in palestinian territories.
i dont know how it works there, but an advisory referendum on a 2 state solution wd b pretty interesting. i suspect candidate on both sides wd need to take a stand.

time to de-trumpify the middle east.

"In response to American pressure," Israel is opening the Erez border crossing, from Israel into Gaza for humantarian aid and is open to allowing a major increase in aid getting in. The Israelis now have a presence in the negotiations taking place in Cairo, which is a sign that they are acquiescing to world, and American pressure. Bibi seems to be acting like a politician on a very hot seat, trying to hang on to power by his fingernails.

I don't expect to see a lot of accolades for this in most news media for Biden. If they don't then we know who is paying their bills and running their show. Because Biden has put a tremendous amount of time and energy into getting this done.

And, Rashida Tlaib, and the Arab and Muslim Americans who are leading the charge to "get Biden's attention" had better shift to leading the charge to get Biden re-elected, if they want to have any hope at all to see Gaza, and the Palestinians on the West Bank, free and independent of foreign control, including Hamas.

FFS, it is still not good enough even though this is what they ("pro-Palestinians" ) claimed they wanted. So, no, Biden won't get any credit, only more name-calling by alleged supporters of Palestinians.
