Louisiana School Psychologist: Young Black Thugs who won’t follow the law need to be put down

The Southern Poverty Law Center has filed two federal civil rights complaints against the Jefferson Parish school system for allegedly discriminating against black and disabled students and sending them to alternative schools, where they often languish for months or even years before returning to school. Now the civil rights organization is highlighting racially charged comments made by one of the district’s psychologists as evidence of potential racial biases.
“Young Black Thugs who won’t follow the law need to be put down not incarcerated. Put down like the Dogs they are!” read one tweet made by Mark Traina, the Jefferson Parish school psychologist, who has worked with alternative schools and in central administration.
On Monday, the Times-Picayune reported Traina worked in central administration with the process of referring children to alternative campuses.
In another tweet about the Republican presidential primaries in March, Traina wrote, “I grew up in Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana - I am a Wallace Man at Heart!”

So that is a steaming hotbed of right-wing insanity. I wonder how many of the residents refused Federal help after Katrina because it was "socialism"?

besides the obvious, is that my sanity as a kid was probably saved by a school psychologist. We'd moved from San Francisco to Silicon Valley and I was just getting my sealegs at the new school. The new set of teachers had no experience with bi-lingual kids as Silicon Valley was redlined and there weren't many of us at the school. The teachers put me with the slow group of readers and I was slowly being bored to death which is a heavy sentence for the second grade. 
Mrs. Faught used to go in and observe classes. She pulled me out one day and tested me and figured out that I read Spanish at a 5th grade level and was getting comfortable with English at my 2nd grade level. It sounds silly now but she made the difference between my days being misery and being fun and exciting. Had she been a racist POS, my whole life would have been different because at some point, kids get the message and they give up on themselves.
I wonder how many kids are casualties of this racist asshole.

What a shame one of his interests is not bringing desperately needed help to the lives of people who need it to help them form their life patterns, already sidelined from mainstream schooling at such an crucial time in their lives. What the hell is he doing in a school system?
He's ignorant, hate-filled, and heartless. Those character diseases will destroy his life for him, and he doesn't even know it.
