MILWAUKEE -- A law firm is offering to prepare wills for Wisconsin teachers at no cost as the coronavirus pandemic rages on.
According to a news release from Tabak Law, LLC, the firm usually offers these free services to veterans through its Wills for Veterans program, but it is now expanding the effort to teachers "because of the uncertain times and the challenges our community has ahead of it."
"As our schools reopen and children are getting back together with their classmates and teachers that they have missed so dearly, Tabak Law, LLC would like to provide Wisconsin teachers the peace of mind that comes with having these documents in order," the news release says.
The news comes the day after the Milwaukee Public Schools board voted to approve its reopening plan.
Earlier this week, MPS administrators released a plan for fall instruction. The plan has three phases. The first is entirely online instruction, with no students inside MPS buildings. The district will monitor the virus and figure out a way to move to phase two, which is a combination of virtual and in-person learning. In phase three all students would return to school once it is safe.

KUSD's current draft proposal has students coming back either virtually or in-person. However, even if students choose to go into the physical building, not every student will go back every day in the district...
