given what we know of their views and goals in any event, that by itself would be cause for some action.

It would be equivalent to somebody having a score of ways to blackmail and extort you. Your options are to be that person's minion or to find a way to fight back. Those siding with the extortioner would either be venal or merely less obvious enemies and in no way worthy of respect.

2. We would only hear about the dead Americans

Just like the god awful war in Iraq. I am so thankful in desperate times like these for DU. I joined DU because I found it to be a bastion of sanity and reality as the corporate media promoted and pimped for the big lie that Iraq was somehow responsible for the bombings in NYC or that they were on the verge of mushroom clouding the U.S.

Of course Faux has Ari and Karl on promoting this war just like they did with Iraq since that has been such a success.
